The Henry County Food Pantry seeks dedicated volunteers to support our operations and ensure smooth, efficient service for our neighbors. Volunteers are needed for donation sorting and organization every Tuesday and Thursday from 9 AM - 12 PM.
Tasks include:
- Sorting and organizing incoming donations, including clothing, toys, household items, etc.
- Inspecting donated items to determine quality and suitability before they are placed for distribution.
- Reorganizing and restocking Clothes Closet shelves, ensuring hygiene items, household essentials, and clothing are readily available and neatly displayed for our neighbors.
Volunteers in this role play an invaluable part in maintaining a welcoming and organized environment for those we serve.
