On Sunday, December 8 at 3 PM, Piedmont Arts will host the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra and Chorus for their annual Holiday Pops Spectacular at Martinsville High School. Featuring a wide variety of Christmas music and featuring guest soloist Michael Lynche (American Idol), this event is one of the most beloved in the Martinsville holiday landscape.
Piedmont Arts needs ushers for this event. Tasks primarily include taking tickets, handing out programs, showing patrons to their seats, and answering questions. Ushers ensure that the audience gets seated efficiently and safely.
A brief orientation with the Programs Coordinator will take place at 2 PM, the auditorium will open at 2:30 PM, and the concert will begin at 3 PM. All ushers are invited to stay at the concert for free in exchange for their service.
