Hours: 12:30pm-6:00pm. The event is from 3-5, however you'll need time to go over your assigned stations, shop for your items and take them back to your apartment or vehicle.
Location: 402 Wilson Street, Danville, VA (The location is within walking distance from the apartments and adjacent to the bus drop and pick up).
Tasks: Assist with crowd control and helping individuals take items to their vehicles.
FYI.... The giveaway will consist of FREE: food, clothing, shoes, candy, drink, chips, toys, appliances, household items, bedding, etc. **IF YOU VOLUNTEER, volunteers are allowed to grab items of their choice prior to the community obtaining their items. There are tons of great items. ***BRING A LARGE HEAVY-DUTY BAG AND/OR CART TO HAUL YOUR ITEMS!!
***There will be a cooler with cold water and snacks available for you***. Transportation is not necessary, considering the distance.
