MWW Foundation: Wine by the River Festival

The Matthew Wayne Wade Foundation is a non-profit organization created in honor of Matt Wade, who abruptly passed away in the summer of 2010. The Foundation hosts the wine by the river festival in order to raise money to help local charities, schools, and other non-profit organizations in our local community. The Foundation has collected over 500 coats that were donated to the Coats for Kids Program organized by Debra Buchanan, made donations to Laurel Park Middle School and the Axton Life Saving Crew INC.  We would like to thank our sponsors, volunteers and everyone that has donated to the foundation. The Wine by the River festival is a volunteer-led community event that brings together local food vendors, live music, wine, and craft beer. Rain or shine, our event focuses on celebrating local arts and culture, while investing in community needs. Proceeds of the festival go to the Matthew Wayne Wade Foundation, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has a goal of giving back to the community.
