Who We Are
The Danville Police Department provides police protection to the citizens of Danville through the Operations Division and the Services Division. The Operations Division handles all enforcement related activity and the Services Division supports those efforts. Supporting both of these divisions is Professional Standards and the Police Chaplain.
What We Do
The mission of the Danville Police Department is to provide quality service to the community through a process of continuous improvement. We will maintain a safe environment for all by protecting life, liberty and property through partnerships with citizens and businesses.
